2012 to 2013 Resolutions and More

I believe in reinventing yourself.  I believe in setting goals and resolutions.  I believe that change and growth is good.  I do not believe that age should dictate who you are or what you do. I do not believe because you hit "that" age that you should  automatically use the expression "too old" or "I am getting old"

I think that is why in 2012 I finally woke up to my life and said "ENOUGH"...Time to move it in the right direction.  I declared 2012 as my year.  I set physical, mental and emotional goals.  For my mental goal I started a Spanish class at IHCC...fail...For emotional goal...I wanted to work on getting my feelings under control...unfortunately things for awhile took a down swing but did get better..still working on that...

My physical goal is what makes me smile.  It wasn't until April that I got my act together.  My goal was to become a runner again. But I knew that was far fetched...as I was miserable physically.  I needed to take care of knee issue and that led into finding a fabulous trainer..which led to me setting some what I know now to be achievable goals which led into running again..

Running for me is like reading for others.  It is my escape from my every day need to do's ....It is my time...Surprising to some I get a lot done when running...I plan my day, I work thru issues, and I get my cardio done (I suppose that is number one)
This comparison is from Christmas 2011 to Christmas 2012

So here it is the Eve of 2013... We have no big plans...just some movies....some more family bonding...

My goals for 2013 are:
try Yoga
keep working out
keep running
leave work at work
train for Sprint Tri's
Travel
